Week 2 | Day 3 | Activity 2: The Right to Education (Four Points) | Summer Learning Journey

LI: To write a story about anything we would like to talk about.

For this activity we had the chance to write a story about anything we have encountered. I chose to write a story of the years 5-6 netball team. I was in the netball team. We went undefeated for the whole season but we drawed with a team getting 10 points each. We had to have the story at least 10 sentences. I enjoyed this activity.

  2. Kia ora Farzana! Olive here from the Summer Learning Journey! How are you doing today?

I really enjoyed reading your short story! You picked a great topic, it's extremely relatable so many other students will be able to feel connected to it. I've played many different team sports such as netball, touch rugby, soccer, volleyball and basketball. I really enjoyed them all and our teams all shared that same feeling of team-spirit, loyalty and excitement when we worked together at games! Ka pai on all your effort with this post! It's a very enjoyable piece of writing, I had a lot of fun reading it!

Remember the end of the Summer Learning Journey is next Friday 24th January! Keep up the blogging, commenting and enthusiasm!

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive

  4. Hi Farzana,
I liked how you described your team, coach and how you all felt during the game with lots of detail. I found it interesting that your team came first out of the whole competition, how did you all feel?
