Week 1 | Day 3 | Activity 2: Defying the Odds | Summer Learning Journey

LI: To ask a basketball player five questions.

For this activity we had to ask a basketball player of our choice five questions that aren't answered in an article. I also made a video interview at the end of the presentation. I asked LeBron James these questions: Are you passionate about anything else other than basketball? Do you want your kids to get good at any sports? Would you like to play for any other teams other than your current team? If you lost your job what would you do? How long do you train for your international games? I enjoyed this activity.

  1. Salam Farzana!,
It's awesome that you have reached this far towards the SLJ activities. I found your DLO interesting and enjoyed it. I really like your layout of this activity and the second question (do you want your kids to get good at sports?).
    Keep Up The Good Work!

  2. Greetings Farzana! This was a really creative way to show your 5 questions for LeBron James. And these sound like you would get some really good answers from him. Question 1 was my favorite, because we would possibly get to hear about something other than his main career that everyone focuses on. What would you say? Awesome job!

  3. Kia Ora Farzana,

Well done for creating some interesting questions for Lebron James! He’s played for three different teams so far in the NBA so maybe he would move to another team. Did you know that he has also been to the Olympics and he has won two gold medals and a bronze medal! If you had the chance to play a sport professionally, what sport would you play?

I would love to watch your video but unfortunately I haven’t got access to it. Comment below when you have changed the sharing settings so I ( and everyone else!) can check it out.

Keep up with the great blogging!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani

  4. Hi Farzana,
I liked how you asked about things like his passions, how long he trains and what he'd do after basketball. I also liked how you took a video of yourself asking the questions. Would you want to become a professional basketball player?
