LI: To compare and contrast Jean Baten and Amelia Earhart.
Today it is the second day for the Summer Learning Journey. For this activity we had to compare and contrast two female pilots who are Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. We had to find three differences and similarities between the two girls. My similarities are: They were both brave, They were both confident women and they both were pilots. Amelia and Jean were brave women because they had the courage to fly far distances. Amelia and Jane were also confident because despite the risks they still did it. I enjoyed this activity.

I am really impressed by your use of colour with this blog post, I love how you have simply used 2 colours and made them stand out beautifully. Once again, you have done exactly what the activity asked you to do plus more! I actually really enjoyed your explanation below the blog post and thought it was well written too.

ReplyDeleteI really liked all of the bright and cool colours you put into this drawing, it looks nice. I also liked how you used slightly transparent colours so when you overlapped them they mixed. Did you find this activity easy or hard to do?
Hello Farzana! This is a really cool Venn Diagram, and aesthetically pleasing just to look at. A smart use of transparency and color, like Alex said, to make that mixed color in the middle. Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart and VERY interesting people...Although I definitely did find out a lot more about them through this activity. Did you know that they BOTH have written their own books?
