For this activity we were asked to write about our thoughts on the name of the clothing brand in NZ 'Twenty Seven Names'. Twenty Seven Names is a clothing brand that sells clothes for women. The two founders were friends in primary school. The founders are: Rachel Easting and Anjali Burnett. We looked at an article that has the backstory of how some of New Zealand brands got their name.
I am a Year 7 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

Week 4 | Day 4 | Activity 1: Fashion Forward (Four Points) | Summer Learning Journey
Twenty Seven Names got their name from writing down the names of the people who helped get that label going and there were 27 Names total on the piece of paper. So, they decided to go with the name 'Twenty Seven Names' for their clothing brand. I think that this name should stay as 'Twenty Seven Names' because it has a really good background of how the name got its place. I think the name means a lot to the clothing line and it would be a good story to talk about.

Salam Farzana!,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading about your thoughts of the Twenty Seven Names brand. I also think that this name should stay as it is. It really does have a great background/story. You are so close to completing the last week of SLJ, so great work. If you had a clothing brand, what would you name it?
Nice Work!

ReplyDeleteKia ora Farzana,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting another awesome post! Ka pai :)
I like the name too. It stands out, and is super unique. I like how it acknowledges all the different people who contributed to the name of the clothing brand.
If you had your own fashion brand, what would it look like? What kind of outfits would you put on your website? And most importantly - what would the name be?

Hi Farzana! This is a really good description about "Twenty-Seven Names" and how they got their title. I think their name is perfect for their brand too, because it definitely represents who they are and really defines something special about their label. If they DID have to change their name, what do you think it should be? Good job!
ReplyDeleteHi Farzana!

Hi Farzana,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you explained how the clothing brand Twenty Seven Names got their name. I also liked how you said that a brand name means a lot to a company. What would you call your company?
