For this activity we were asked to choose a role model and write about them. I chose to do Malala Yousafzai a peaceful activist. This activity was inspired by Jessica Mauboy and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Jessica Mauboy is an Aboriginal Australian singer. She got famous when she was shown in the Australian Idol. Dame Kiri Te Kanawa is an opera singer from New Zealand. She was one of the best sapranos (highest singing voice).
Hello Farzana!,
ReplyDeleteYou have a great poster about Malala Yousafzai. I have enjoyed reading about her and why she is a role model. Malala Yousafzai is an awesome role model who stood up and fought non-violently for women's education. Did you find this activity difficult?
Great Work!
Tālofa Lava Farzana,
ReplyDeleteKueni here again, I hope you are having a fantastic Friday afternoon!
Well done on completing another blog post today. I really like this activity because you get to write about a role model of yours and share why they are a role model to you.
I really like our choice of Malala Yousafzai, I can tell that you have chosen her because she has done such great things with her life. I remember reading one of your other posts about her so it is clear that she is something who really interests you and is someone you really look up to.
I think it is awesome that you have chosen someone who has made such a great impact on the lives of others and I really like that you have highlighted all the hard work she has accomplished in her life even though she is only 22.
Keep up the hard work, I look forward to reading more of your blog posts!
Tofā,
Kueni :)
Hi Farzana,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you gave a lot of detail on who Malala Yousafzai like who she is, when she was born, what she's done and what happened to her. Would you want to be like her one day?
Ciao Farzana! You have some really good information on Malala Yousafzai. I can tell a lot of effort went into this page, judging by the amount of detail. I love how you not only talk about who she is, but also HOW she is a role model. Her story is also very inspiring - her confidence and strength is something I look up to...Well done!
