Maori | Wiki Ono | Translations

LI: To understand and translate more about the Maori language.

This week for Maori we were identifying and translating words that relate to where something is located. At the beginning of the session we were learning how to use a poi. A poi is an object that helps the rhythmic and flexibility strength. We learnt how to do some actions then used those actions to do a song. After that we translated that we translated another row of Maori words that have the 'ia' sound in it. My group and I also did another translation task were we had to translate Maori words that were to do with the location of something.
