Kiwi Can | Respectful Communication

LI: To learn about respectful communication.

This week for kiwi can we carried on with the respectful communication topic. We discussed the different ways of communication. There are many ways such as: Digital communication, In-person communication, Body language, Sign language and Communication through letters.

For our energizer we played a tournament game. We had to get into partners and on the count of three we had to hold up any amount of fingers in one hand that we wanted to and we had to count the amount of fingers all together. We then talked about respectful communication and how we would talk in different situations.

After that we played our activity. Mr. Semanu put down some cones and he put some music on. When the music was on we had to dance and if we weren't dancing we were out. When the music turned off then we had to grab a cone, sit down and put it on our head. If you didn't manage to do that then you are out.
