LI: To build vocabulary and make connections.

Making connections is a reading strategy we use to connect with the text. Synthesis is another reading strategy to get a new understanding of the text. We had to finish of three DLO's but since Mr. Ogilvie wasn't here for two days our work is in progress (WIP). We activated our prior knowledge then put down the new information that we learnt.
