Kiwi Sport | Gymnastics

LI: To increase our flexibility, strength & balance.

LS1 group A went to the hall to participate in our gymnastics session with Steven. Steven was gone for two weeks so he expected us to not be the best. We had three rotations which were the:

1. Balance station - In the balance station we had to go on a beam and kick forward then backwards, we had to do a cartwheel along a long blue beam, after that we did a frontwards roll on a thick beam, lastly we did bunny hops along another beam.

2. Strength station -  On the parallel bars we had to do the tuck shape and the L shape while on the bars, on two stairs flipped on their sides we had to go on it and do light swinging, we had to do the front/side/back support, on a bar we had to do a handstand with the support of the wall and on the bars we had to do little swings on it.

3. Postition station - On a 90° angled triangle we had to do the back roll, on a blue long mat we had to do a handstand then front roll then another handstand, on a springboard we had to do one straight jump, on a mini trampoline we had to do a dive roll.

I enjoyed this session on Gynmastics back with Steven.
