Kiwi Sports | Ki O Rahi
LI: To learn how to play the Ki Oma role in Ki O Rahi.
This week for kiwi sport we were learning how to play the Ki Oma role. We started of by learning how to start the game. A person in the Ki Oma team kickes the ball to the Kaitiaki (Gaurdians). The Kaitiaki enter and exit through Te Ara. If the ball rolls or touches the ground it is the Taniwha teams ball. However, if the ball goes in the air and the Kaitiaki catches the ball it is Ki Omas ball. To practise these skills we played: Save Te Ara and Golden child. I enjoyed this activity, my favourite part of the game was when we played golden child.
