Ki O Rahi | Kiwi Sport
LI: To apply our learning skills in Ki O Rahi.
This week for kiwi sport we played the full game of Ki O Rahi. We applied our learning from the past few weeks and played the full game. This was our last session with coach Shanice.
Team Taniwha had to throw the Ki at the tupu to score a try. Taniwha team can't go in Pawero unless they are doing a jump throw. They also can't go in Te Ara in any condition.
Team Ki Oma had to touch as many Poe as they can, then run through Te Roto and score a try in Pawero. Ki Oma can not go in Te Roto or Pawero unless they are scoring a try. Only Kaitiaki can go through Te Ara.
Kaitiaki had to protect the Tupu from Taniwha. Every game starts of with a kicker kicking the ball to Kaitiaki and the Kaitiaki had to try and catch the ball, if they don't it is team Taniwha's ball. If the Kaitiaki catches the ball while Taniwha is trying to throw the Ki at the Tupu Kiatiaki can pass the ball to a person in team Ki Oma.
I really enjoyed this session of Ki O Rahi although is was rough. I hope we can play Ki O Rahi some time again.
