Figurative Language | Hyperbole & Personification

I learnt how to use hyperboles and personifications to describe images.

First, I gave two examples for hyperboles. A hyperbole is an exaggeration. One of the example I made was: "The waterfall released all the ocean's water into a lake".

I did this activity and made up the figurative language, by looking at the images and identifying the situation.

After making two examples for the hyperbole slide, I gave another two examples for the personification. A personification is giving an object or item a humain trait. A personification I made was: "The P38 Lightning screamed with power as it zoomed off into the sky".

I found some of the images hard to come up with a personification and hyperbole.

LI: To use hyperbole and personification to narrate events.
