Visualising | Reading Strategy

Visualising is imaging a drawing, infographic, mind map or map on things that are difficult to understand.

To visualise a difficult sentence, break it up into parts and then draw each part.

If there are any words that are unknown they should be looked up in a dictionary. Childrens dictionaries are best suited for young learners.

Visualising is a good way to easily understand difficult texts.

LI: To learn how to visualise a text.
