Archimedes Screw | Simple Machine
LI: To identify a simple machine.
A screw is a simple machine that transfers soft and liquid things from a low point to a high point. It is bent on an axle depending on the force. On Tuesday we were introduced to a new simple machine which was an archimedes screw. We did an experiment. Our experiment was that we had to make a screw out of a pipe and a stick. We managed to get some water out of the bucket by twirling the stick on an angle.
