Dad's Iphone

Dad’s Iphone

My dad lost his iphone again.
They’re not in the draw.
He says if we don’t find it he will not be able to call anyone.

My dad has lost his iphone again!
A gigantic hunt is on.
We've searched the kitchen and the laundry.
Who knows where it is now?

My dad has lost his iphone again.
We‘ve searched the bathroom a hundred times.
The worried look on dad’s face now is really not that polite.

My dad has lost his iphone again.
There’s no place we didn’t look.
My brother searched and searched
but only found his lost sock.

My dad lost his iphone again!
I've combed the living room.
No iphone in the living room and no iphone in the toilet.

My dad lost his iphone again!
Now mum has began to look.
Success at last.

My mum found it in the my brother’s lunch box!

Recycling bottles

Recycling bottles

“Let’s go, hurry up!” yelled my cousin.
“Where are we going to?”asked my sister.
“To the park,” replied my cousin in an excited voice.
When we got to the park we were  disgusted to find a lot of rubbish.
“What a lot of rubbish!” I shouted in disgust.

“Let’s recycle them by selling them.” “ It will be helpful for the  planet,” replied my cousin.
“The bottles are rather clean,” exclaimed my sister.
“Come on we have a lot of work to do, it will take us a lot of time and we only have 2 more hours,” I told them.
“Then let’s get to work,” said my sister.

We collected the bottles and took them home and made them into pencil holders. It was a lot of work but it was also fun. We can sell them to people who don’t  have a pencil holder. “I will ask dad if he can build the stand,”
“Dad can you please build the stand,” I  asked excitedly.
“We sold a lot of pencil holders,” and felt proud our work. We all  saved one holder each as a present to ourselves.
“Uhh I am exhausted,” moaned my cousin.
“Same,” I replied.

We helped our environment by recycling the bottles and making them into pencil holders. We ate something in the afternoon and had chips for a treat.
“Come on let’s go back and play at the park,” said my sister. “I hope we do not find more rubbish!”

“I wonder what we can make if we found a pile of paper?” I teased back.

Today I had to work in a team to build a one meter tower that could balance a tennis ball on the top for at least 5 minutes.

Long Bay beach

Long Bay beach

“This term has been so short and I can’t believe it’s already the school
holidays,” I said.
“I totally agree with you,” replied my sister.

On the second week on the school holidays my family and I went to
Long Bay beach because my family had  no plans for the day.

First my sister, cousin and I went to the park near our picnic spot.
I went on the Flying Fox, and it was a bit scary but I did like it. I also
went on the Spider Web. We had a race about who could climb the
fastest but unfortunately my sister won. It was fun! After that we had
to go back to the picnic spot.

Next we ate some lunch. We had rice, some delicious salad and
long potato sticks. I gobbled it like a hungry pig. I had two plates of
the food.

When I finished we had to wait for half an hour before swimming.
During the half hour we decided to go for a walk on the mountain.
My sister took pictures of flowers. We found shells and collected
them. When we finished the walk that took an awful long time we
got changed and went for a swim.  I  jumped in the water like a bomb.
I waited for waves and then pretended I was surfing
“Who can hold their breath the longest?” asked my cousin.
“I can,” replied my sister.
“No, I think I can hold my breath the longest,” I said.
We started and my cousin held her breath the longest. After that
we ate cake. I ate a lot of the delicious cake. Next we played soccer
with my uncle. We split up into teams and I was with my uncle and
my cousin and sister were in  a team. In the last round my uncle and
I won!

Finally we went home. I was glad we went to Long Bay beach
because I love swimming.

Heating water

Screenshot 2017-06-02 at 2.03.16 PM.png

During this lesson I learned what happens to water when it is heated. When water is heated it evaporates as steam. It then cooled on the sides. This is condensation. The water then came back down. This is called precipitation.

I was learning how water is heated.
