Soccer Interschool

On Wednesday, some students from Panmure Bridge School, went to Madills Farm to play soccer against other schools. There were 7 groups from Panmure Bridge School that participated in this event. 

The year 7&8 girls from LS2, had their first game against Stonefields 1. We tried our best and got tired very fast, we ended up winning 1-0. After this game, we had an interval and then played against Ruapotaka school. We ended up with points of 0-0 making it a tie. The third team we played against was Glen Brae. We won this match 2-0. After our third game and our break, we played against Stonefields 2. This was a hard game but we ended up winning 3-0. Our last opponent was Sylvia Park but they did not show up, so we played another school. This game was a tie 0-0. In the end, we ended up winning three out of five games and drew the other two games.

I enjoyed playing soccer on that day and I improved my skills in soccer by a lot. I hope that these skills I have gained will come in handy for the future.
