How I painted my boat shed

• First study a painting of an artist
• Draw a pencil sketch of a boat shed on an A3 paper
• Edit the pencil sketch to fix mistakes
• Put newspaper under your artwork
• Get out the paint brushes and paint of different colours
• Paint the pohutukawa trees with a big brush. The paint  must be dark green.
• Add  flowers to the trees with bright red paint.  Paint the sides, door, roof and steps.
• Let your artwork dry in a safe place

Dear Mum and Dad,

Here is my wish list for Christmas 2017. I think that at school I worked on getting better at taking different types of photography shots. At home I helped put out the trash and vacuumed the living room.

“Where should we go today?” I asked.

“I’m not sure ask your dad,” replied my mum.

“Dad where are we going today?” I asked.

“Wait and find out,” replied my dad.

“Uhh fine,” I moaned.

On the weekends my family and I went to Piha beach, because
we had no plans for the weekends.

First we ate lunch. My dad ordered Nando’s for us. I ate a lot of
chicken and fries with salad. I also ate a corn. I gobbled it all up
like a monster. It was delicious.

I went with my dad, baby sisters and brother to the beach we saw four
caves. I climbed the biggest cave and ran down it. I found a pretty
shell and saw my reflection on it, and took it to my sister. Next I put
my feet in the nice cold water.  When we got back from the beach
we went to our picnic spot.

After that we went to the waterfall. Everyone got their clothes dirty.
It took us 30 minutes to arrive at the waterfall. I put my feet in the
cold water. My sister took a lot of pictures of the waterfall. We had

to walk another 30 minutes. Finally we had to go home.

I was glad we went to Piha beach because I spent so much time
with my family and most importantly I had fun!

Dogs

If you want your dog to behave then it must be trained. You can take it for a run to make it tough. Your dog might be able to swim if you train it by taking it to the beach. If you don’t want your dog to bark at visitors then it must be trained. If you don’t train your dog it’ll be lazy . Trained dogs are  pleasant to be around.

Dogs must be fed everyday with healthy food. You must feed your dog so it can survive, be healthy and strong. They must also be given clean water to drink. Dogs like to chew on bones and it can sometimes be given treats when it is good.

Dogs look different. Some dogs have  fur and some  don’t. Some dogs have fluffy tails and some don’t. Their tails can be different sizes.  Dogs are cute. Some dogs paws are sharp and some are short. Their ears  can be  big, small,straight or bendy.

This page is about cat and rat trying to get out of their boring island.
In the middle of a small island laid a big tree. Everyday cat had to
eat fruit and rat had to gnaw on root. One day rat had a brilliant
idea. He told his idea to cat. Cat agreed to rat’s idea. So they got a
piece of the big tree. Rat gnawed on the piece of tree to make it
hollow. While rat was gnawing, cat was making a sail. At the end
of this story they made it on a new island but they did not get along
anymore.

The main idea about this page is about cat and rat trying to get
out of their boring island, because they wanted to explore about
the world and they were tired of eating fruit and gnawing on root.

Fidget spinners

A fidget spinner is a toy to play with. You can purchase a fidget spinner in supermarkets, The Warehouse, Fulsun, Farmers, two dollar shops, night markets and online. It costs five dollars. Children and some adults like fidget spinners. It is the new trend for 2017. Kids love Fidget spinners because they are fidgety. The customize fidget spinner are electronic. It can cost from $2 to $20.

Fidget spinners look like a windmill. In the center of the fidget spinner there is a round circle. There could be three, four or five blades. In the blades there are bearings.  A fidget spinner often has pretty patterns on it. When you spin the fidget spinner it looks like a circle.

Some fidget spinners are soft and some are hard. Some fidget spinners are heavy and some are light. If you take out the bearings it will be super light. The round parts are soft and some are hard. Some fidget spinners are hard to balance on your finger.

I am learning to write a discription about a fidget spinner and to put my ideas into paraghraphs.
