Commenting
LI: To give feedback on a persons blogpost.
Today I decided to comment on Ongs blogpost. He had a good blogpost but didn't include enough information in his blurb. I did this activity too. I enjoyed commenting on Ongs blogpost.
Basic Facts Boxes
LI: To remember basic facts.
Today I decided to do my basic facts boxes. I did the speed demon challenge. My time was four minutes and thirty nine seconds. I did pretty good, but did not beat Mr. Wongs time which was three minutes and twenty two seconds. I enjoyed this activity.
Inquiry | Hauora
LI: To present an animation, poster, movie, and skit.
For this session we got into three groups of eight and had to create four DLO's and present them infront of the class. Our group only finished three DLO's out of four. The DLO's were: Animation poster, the movie, and the skit. We presented our Animation, Skit, and Poster. I enjoyed presenting to the class but I was nervous.
Duffy Assembly | Robert Rakete

Today we had our duffy assembly for term one. Our guest was Robert Rakete who is a famous actor, the brown wriggles, the breeze a radio and was in Dancing with the stars. His favourite book is asterix. He made a song called: Have a good day, Kia Pai To Ra. We also had a Mainfreight worker named Ollie representing Mainfreight. We got our duffy books. The books I got was: The Secret Garden, and Goosebumbs Haunted Halloween Movie Novel.

Music
LI: To play the notes and chords of a song.
Yesterday the year fives went to music in room eight. We played these following songs: We don't talk anymore, Lean on me and Count on me. I went on the keyboards and xylaphone. When you're on the keyboards you have free time which means you can play any song or any note. I like this activity because you get to learn how to use instruments.

Little Red Riding Hood | Writing
LI: To write an imaginative recount.
Today Alayah & I finished our imaginative recount about Little Red Riding Hood. The recount had to be in the wolfs perspective or Little Red Riding Hoods perspective. We chose Little Red Riding Hoods perspective. We had to write the events and ending. The structure of a recount is TREE (Title, Reveal, Events, & Ending). I enjoyed writing the events and ending of Little Red Riding Hood.
