How to make a vertical garden

If you follow these instructions you will successfully make a vertical garden .

You will need:

• A plastic bottle
• Compost
• String
• Water
• Bottle lid
• Herbs
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• Glue

Method:

1.  Plan your vertical garden with your group.

2. Cut the bottom third of the bottle.

3. Make a hole on the sides of the bottle.

4. Cut two long pieces of the string.

5. Close the mouth of the bottle with a lid

6. Tie the strings to the holes of the bottle.

7. Pour the soil into the bottle.

8. Plant the herb in your bottle.

9. Hang the bottle by the string on the ledge.

10. Water your herb.

“You got a bad school report!” mum yelled.

“It’s not my fault,” I replied.

“Well next time try harder,” mum said in a disappointed voice.

“Okay,” I mumbled.

“Let’s go,” Sulia shouted.

Hockey

Hockey

This morning my class walked delightedly to the school hall to learn how to play hockey. I was excited to play hockey because I have never played hockey before.

First we played a fun warm up game called Rob the Nest. We had to run fast, get the ball from the middle hula hoop and bring it back in our nest.

Then we learned how to dribble the ball with a hockey stick .I had to control the ball, stop the ball and move the ball. I want to learn how to get more better at dribbling. I will try my best so I can get better at hockey.

Next I learned how to bounce a ball with a hockey stick. I had to put the hockey stick under my armpit, bounce the ball and catch it. I could bounce the ball only two times. I tried to do four but I couldn’t.

Finally we had a competition. We had to get into two teams. I was in the second team. We had to play against the other team. I rolled the ball to the other team's goal but someone defended me so our team did not win but we scored two points and the other team had four points. It was challenging to score points

I enjoyed playing hockey with my class. I tried my best to learn to play the game of hockey.
