Summer Learning Journey | Mighty Mangroves

I think my dad is very strong and tough because whenever someone does something wrong he confronts them and is not scared to tell them to not do what they are doing wrong. My dad is tough because when he realizes there is something wrong that he is doing he stops right away and talks about it to my mum.

LI. To talk about a tough and strong person.
Today I completed the 2nd activity for the 2nd day for the 2nd week of the SLJ. We had to talk about a person who is very strong and tough. This person could be in your personal life or in movies. I chose my dad because I think he is tough. I enjoyed this activity because I could talk about my tough dad.

  1. Hey Farzana, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's great to see that you are working hard during your break. I hope you keep it up throughout the summer!

Thank you for completing another activity and sharing your 'tough' person in your life. It sounds like you have a really caring and protective father (and mother too!).

It's interesting because being tough can come in a variety of ways. You can be physically tough like weight lifters or kick boxers. But then you can also be mentally tough - someone who can withstand a lot of pressure and continue to work hard and persist with things.

Do you have a favourite actor from any particular movie? Are there many kids movies coming out these summer holidays?

    Thanks, Billy.

  2. Greetings Farzana,
You have made a great start to the summer learning journey! In my eyes your blurbs have lots of details and is clear for me to read understand. I agree with me my dad is tough in our family he is nice caring father but once we do workouts at the gym he is very tough.

Keep up the hard work Farzana!
    Your doing so well!

  4. Hello Farzana! Good Job on completing this activity but all together only part of the many activities. I think that a father is everyone's hero and man of the family, so good choice of person. I hope to see you get more done since I now you are capable of it, keep it up!

  5. Hi Farzana,
Amazing job on participating in the Summer Learning Journey. I think you did a great job on doing this activity. It's great that you've chosen your dad as being strong and tough. Is there anyone else that you think is also tough and strong?

  6. Hi Farzana,

Well done for completing another SLJ activity. It's great to be commenting and reading on your SLJ activities. It has been great to explore around your blog for your SLJ activities. I did this task too, but I chose a different person. Your dad sure sounds great to choose. Nice description about your father. You have used powerful/strong words too.

    NICE!

  7. Hi Farzana,

What an amazing choice. You dad should be strong. I hope you had a great holiday. I choose Batman because he looks pretty strong. I like how you explained why you picked your dad as your strong personality.

If you had another choice who would it be?

    Joshua

  8. Hi Farzana,
Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you chose your Dad, he must be important to you. I also liked how you explained why you chose your Dad, does he tell people what they're doing wrong even if he doesn't know them?
